I have had two orders come across my desk today with inventory quantity errors. Best example is the most recent:

The part number that the customer wanted was not in the system yet. It was entered today. No quantity has been received yet. The stock status and inventory activity log reports show no activity.

Yet I have a packing slip in my hand that has this part number on it with a quantity of 1 committed.

When I removed this order and checked the inventory window the quantities in stock section reads:

Available: 1
On-Hand: 0
Committed: 1-

Negative 1 commited? 1 available?

HELP!

I have a second product with the same issue. It shows a backorder quantity of -5, shows zero on order even though the PO tab shows 10 on order.....

Anyone else experience this problem? Any idea what is causing it?

We have 4 people doing inventory and order entry in the system so it's not easy to track down where in our processes this could possibly be happening.
