Abnormal Program exits and Database Recovery

     Hi,

I notice that there seems to be no provisioning for automatic recovery of database(e.g.table integrity) whenever there is an abnormal program exit in ACCPAC ProSeries 6.5. While I am familiar with Databases like Access and Informix, I am not too familiar with the way how FoxPro Databases work. I know that if it were Informix database, I would consider the problem out of the scope of the program and would looking for a way to tune the database itself to automatically recover from a situation as such. For example Informix allows you to use transaction logging to keep a record of each change allowing rollbacks of incomplete transactions.

It would be easy to say just go to the System Recovery option and reindex, clear flags, etc. However we have so many users in my organization that to follow behind each program crash like that would be impractical. So I guess my question really is "Can a FoxPro Database be tuned in such a fashion so as to automatically repair table integrity when ACCPAC crashes?" In other words "Auto Rollback". If so "How?"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
