Joe Bergera joined Sage in June 2004 as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Contact Management Solutions, comprised of the ACT! by Sage product family, and is now responsible for the complete family of Sage CRM and contact management solutions in North America. Mr. Bergera has significant experience as a leader in global software and technology firms, and possesses a deep knowledge of the CRM software market, particularly in the areas of workgroups and analytics.
Prior to joining Sage, Mr. Bergera was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for InfoVista, a global infrastructure management software company serving financial services, manufacturing, and healthcare, among other vertical markets. Mr. Bergera also served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at Astrolink, a privately held global broadband telecommunications firm owned by Liberty Media, Lockheed Martin, Telecom Italia, and TRW. He was responsible for the company's market strategy, product marketing, and corporate communications.
Previous to Astrolink, Mr.Bergera was Director of Vertical and Channel Marketing for MicroStrategy, Inc., a leading business intelligence software vendor.
Mr. Bergera has also held executive management roles in a variety of technology markets including enterprise software, wireless broadband, systems integration, and consulting services. He is recognized for his expertise in vertical and channel marketing. Bergera earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College and both an MBA and an MPP from The University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business.
